Folks – this is the kind of thing which must be countered. A student, a young woman whose name I didn’t catch, told NBC news taped earlier today that the Search Committee was all white, all hearing. This was reported as “the protesters are claiming that the search was not culturally inclusive enough.”
This is a patent lie.

Hi, For that part, I suggest for you to pay attention carefully. The student did not say that the Search committe was all white. She said that the Academic Advisory Firm was.
I do not believe that there's any kind of racism nor discrimination has been going on during PSC and BOT's selection for 9th President of Gallaudet University.
I am wondering how many times does Jane Fernandes and her supporters, and Board of Trustees have to tell the world that? 50 times or 100 times? The answer to that, the whole thing was not fixed at all.
Question here, is this a new approach for Deaf community to do if they don't get what they wanted? PROTEST, PROTEST, and PROTEST instead of accept the fact that someone is qualified whatever they like it or not. I sensed that DPN (Deaf President Now in 1988) doesn't really benefit us today because they did not give people out there the tips of possible of solution for this matter.
