Students pounded on windows and doors disrupting the dinner and causing alarm to guests. Worse they blockaded the exit doors. When dinner concluded guests had to be taken out through the kitchen in small groups for fear of physical confrontation with protestors. The Plunkett family was there and too was a very distinguised Japanese artist and educator who had come all the way from Japan with his wife who was in wheelchair. These people did not deserve to be treated with such disrespect and put in possible danger by having exits blocked.
